Biography

Matthew is the founder and managing partner of Mahjour Law. He has extensive experience in commercial and civil litigation and corporate and commercial law, and he has successfully represented clients before all levels of court in Ontario, administrative tribunals, and professional regulatory bodies.
In addition to his robust and laudable litigation practice, Matthew provides a comprehensive range of services in matters involving corporate and commercial law, real estate transactions and estate planning, and any disputes arising therefrom.

Prior to being called to the Ontario Bar, Matthew obtained his Juris Doctorate from Osgoode Hall Law School and his Master of Law from Tel Aviv University. Concurrent with his academic achievements, he interned with UNICEF in Thailand, founded a booming high-end clothing boutique in one of Toronto’s most fashionable neighbourhoods, and spent several years working with various leading international airlines.

Matthew has travelled the globe, visited more than 100 countries, and is fluent in French, Italian, Spanish and Farsi. He enjoys meeting people from all walks of life, and he prides himself in fostering meaningful and lasting connections with anyone he comes across.
